Last Saturday I was invited to take pictures for the runway show for RAW ARTISTS Los Angeles specifically for Lil’ Lou Lou the vintage accessory and children,s line is inspired by the 40s, 50s and 60s. Although I am not know for runway photography, I figured it would be fun as well as a learning experience. It turned out to be a very humbling experience as I found out, and realize I need to hone my skills for a shoot like this. I did learn a lot and I know several things I would do differently, but when it comes down to it, I really just needed a better zoom lens. I was just too far away from the subjects on the stage. Here are a few of the pix from that night.
Every time we work together we just seem to get some good stuff. You can follow this beautiful young lady on Twitter at: @serinazuniga The Levitated Mass Rock, is really something to see, but so is Serina. Enjoy.
Friday night I went to the Sutra Lounge in Costa Mesa. I intended to take pictures of the runway show, but I was not allowed to bring in my camera because I did not get clearance. Total rookie mistake on my part, and I should have known better…so here are just a few images and video from my Cell phone. Not great, but it will do. There are two short videos at the bottom, much better than the stills. I promise.
