First and foremost. Happy Talk like a Pirate Day. How this day came about, is a mystery to me, but I am sure there was a good reason for it. I usually do this everyday, I don’t need a special day to make me talk like a pirate. Anyway, lets talk about my lunch. If you would like to read this in a Pirate voice, please do so. I think we will both get a kick out of it.

Today, I went to a local joint, it is literally located in our same complex, so we just walked over to grab some grub. JayDee’s Cafe is the name of this place. I ordered the Patty Melt on wheat. It was not bad, kinda plain, but that’s ok. I think I will stick with their breakfast dishes, they are much better. 3 Pirate Burps.

Comikaze 2012

Last Saturday, I went to COMIKAZE Expo at the LA Convention Center. I purchased my tickets off Groupon at a VERY good price. Overall it was pretty cool, however, I can’t really say much about admissions team. With a prepaid ticket, I stood in a very long line, in 90 degree weather for over an hour. Since I could not stay very long, had to leave by 2pm, this really cut into my time at the EXPO. Very annoying for those of us who had to stand in line. Anyway, I hope next year they are better organized. That being said, here are a few of the pix I took, and a great video that I came across on the internet!

In honor of this wondrous occasion. I decided to have a burger from one of the top burger joints in our vicinity THE HABIT.

I went with their BBQ Bacon Charburger Bacon, mayonnaise, pickle, fresh tomato, lettuce and carmelized onions on a toasted bun.

It was outstanding, and to top it off, I am almost 99 % sure that we saw Hal Landon Jr. (played Captain Logan on Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure) Excellent food and totally excellent time! 4.8 Burps.

I had the pleasure to work with Chelsea Christian last year. We met up for this shoot on May 26 2011. This was the very first one on one shoot I had with a professional model. Chelsea was all business and super nice. Easy to get along with, and just natural. She made my job very easy as she pretty much did all the work. We shot in Downtown Riverside and around the Mission Inn. It’s interesting to go back and see how much my editing has changed as well as my picture style. Learned a lot on this shoot, and I hope to have a chance to work with Chelsea again someday. Judging from her latest work, she is well on her way to something more. Had lunch with some good peeps today. We went for take out Mexican food at Albatros in Lake Forest. I had their Mixed burrito (shredded beef and beans) 4.5 burps.
