Last Saturday I had the pleasure of attending ANIME EXPO at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Since I was not able to get tickets to COMIC-CON next weekend, I figured this would be a great alternative to at least get some great pictures of costumes and great artists and their work. I was not disappointed. It was complete sensory overload, and I had my work cut out for me with tons of pictures to edit. A week later, I as able to complete this mission and whittled it down to the best 339 pictures. YIKES!!! I have to admit, I am really not familiar with the majority of the characters I took pictures of, but if I go back next year, I will make it a mission to be a little more familiar with the ANIME world. I will not overwhelm you with the entire set, but it is available to see on my flickr account here: ANIME EXPO
Here are just a few of my favorite shots from the EXPO.

Not much to say. Speaks for itself.
Two Grilled Shrimp Taco combo. Comes with a drink. Excellent. Less than $8. 4.5 burps.

Go on, get you some.
Came across this videos shot on EPIC Camera by Red Digital Cinema. Spoof on Call Me Maybe.

Rubio’s for lunch today. I had the Mesquite Grilled Shrimp Burrito. It was pretty solid. Our buddy JDubb met up with us to make for great company. 4.5 solid burps.
Two days ago I went to see THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN. I went into it with realistic expectations and my expectations were fulfilled completely! Growing up as a wee boy boy, Spider-Man has always been my favorite Super Hero. This is coming from a pure fan of the character, I was never really into comic books as a kid, so it was all based on from what I saw on TV.
I grew up watching the cartoon and singing along to the AWESOME theme song.

I also used to watch the reruns of the TV Series!!! You remember this, right?

I think you could say that I am a bit biased by the SPIDER-MAN Franchise.
By far, the newest installment of this series has finally been captured with the right team to bring the character to life with visually stunning images and 3D! The effects, action, suit, is out of this world! I especially like the use of glass and windows to portray an “Amazing” effect and theme throughout the film.
So what can you expect from the movie? It’s campy, its fun, great special effects, colorful and beautifully shot. Is it Shakespeare? No, it isn’t but if you want escapism, and the perfect summer movie, you must see this movie, and make sure you see this in 3D! The use of 3D in this picture is not in your face, but it enhances the visuals and storytelling! Its a fun ride and it made me feel like a kid again!

I really love having a Disney Annual pass! If we have nothing to do, we can just hop in the car and head over to the park. It’s just fun to walk around, people watch and of course get on the rides. There is always something new and shows that I have never seen. Here are some pictures and videos from our last visit. We are actually blocked out all of the month of July and most of August, but then again…the park is packed and it gets really hot out. We were able to squeeze one more day before the magic stopped.
Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree From the line.

Make sure you pick up the New Issue of HDVideoPro coming soon! Read about The Amazing Spiderman and PROMETHEUS both shot in 3D on RED’s EPIC Cameras. Look for it in newsstands!

I went to Panera Bread for lunch today. I had a cup of French Onion Soup and a Tuna Sandwich on Honey Wheat.
The Tuna was delicious and the bread was nice and soft…really tasty. The French Onion soup was excellent! Overall, a very satisfying lunch. 4.5 burps.
